The Newport School Committee appointed Patricia M. DiCenso Principal of Rogers High School. Ms. DiCenso replaces retiring principal John M. Harrington. A resident of Cranston, Ms. DiCenso received her bachelor of science degree from Rhode Island College in 1978 and her master of education degree in 1990. She was a teacher and counselor in the Johnston public schools before working at North Kingston High School in 2001 where she was assistant principal.
